I’m new to this area and has started off with a couple of potential jobs. Interesting concepts come my way, that I haven’t heard about in any actual software development context, only from entrepreneurs! Can I help them reach their proof of concept for their app? What is that, I ask them. Well, it’s basically the whole app, developed, but just so they can try to see if it actually would work, they conclude. I’m speechless.

Then some other peeps want to send their scope of work my way, to see a cost comparison to other companies. This is before they barely know what I am doing, and before I barely know anything about their product.

Are these things actually normal in software development, product design etc. Or are these guys just stuck in their entrepreneur-y way of thinking about things?
