What should I put on a personal Website?

I have finished my bachelor in mechanical engineering and would like to create a personal website for my job search. I have been working as a software engineer for two years and have both private and business projects in this area.

I also have a lot to do with embedded software, which probably best combines the two fields mechanical and software.

I’m not sure if I should write about my studies at all or just about my projects and programming experience, because I’d rather go into this field too.

In summary, I would very much appreciate it if you could give me advice on whether to describe in detail who you are or what you do on a personal website. Or if it’s better to give a quick overview of what you can do and where you want to go.
