Getting a software dev job in San Francisco?

So, I’m 20, turning 21. I live in the Bay Area, and I’m working at a pretty boring job rn( security) and I was thinking about learning how to code ( do a relatively cheap course then maybe invest in a Bootcamp.) I love challenges, and working at things until I get it, and learning new shit is always fun for me, and the little little coding I did in hs ( very basic it was like a browser game) I enjoyed and of course I’m going to do some research tonight, But the overall plan was to get a software dev job, so I can save and pursue my end goal which is to build/own businesses ( media agency, clothing brand, etc.) what are some things I should know before going down this path? ( will I have time to work on my side hustles?, stress levels? Etc)
