Does this make me a bad dev

Im a high school student going to uni this fall interested in software and data sci, and this summer im doing a course on udemy for angular. Is it bad that i cant make the stuff on my own yet when the instructor says “try this on your own”, and I need his tutorial/his way of doing it, even though we already learned the stuff and practiced the content(eg data binding etc). I understand the instructors method once he starts, and when he starts i can generally do it myself then because ik how to do it. I just cant think of what to do or how to approach it at all myself yet. Does this make me a bad developer, being unable to do this stuff myself without some sort of “push” or guidance to start…if so what should i be doing to try to fix this (anyone else who used to be in the same boat as me)
