“Why is sub versioning important?” was an unanswered comment on another Reddit post about interview prep. Searches for the term usually give results for version-control tools, but I wanted to know if anyone could explain the core concept.
Is it a component of version control that tracks the individual changes so you don’t have to revert to an entire previous version if you only want to undo a set of actions? Thanks for any explanation.
