Currently, we have a few educational apps running on Android, iOS and Web. Our apps look something like Netflix but instead of just videos, teachers are able to view pdfs, listen to audio, flip through picture books and create mock exams.

However, we’re seeing a need from teachers who want a plug and play version of our apps. Basically, they want a USB with everything in it, rather than have to connect to the Internet and download for hours to get all the content.

Where would we start looking into how to convert our apps? None of the current developers are familiar with creating Windows desktop apps.

EDIT: One of the things we’re looking at is using Electron but through some research, I’m getting the gist that it’s basically a browser in a window talking to a local web server. Any other ideas?
