Hi Everyone,

I have a question about open repository licence and which one is the best for my case.

I’m almost done working an open source project but looking for a license that cover the cases below (and before I ask for code review):

  1. Any one can use the library even commercial use and distribution.
  2. In case someone extended the features, I’d like to have them to create a pull request with these changes.
  3. I know people might copy the repo. and write the code but wanted something like legal/license to discourage people from doing so.

Two licenses might answer the above points but not sure.

  1. MPL 2.0
  2. Apache 2.0

Most of the internet blogs are copy cats and most of the stuff is written in a legal terms which make it a little hard to digest, so I’d appreciate any help in selecting the right license for my case.

Thanks
