Hello, I’m a Community College student in a Career Exploration class needing to interview a person in my interested field. I don’t know any software engineers/ developers personally so I would greatly appreciate if someone could answer these questions.
- Job Title and how that fits into the company structure/hierarchy:
- Educational and training background (and other info like did they intern? Get the job through networking? Etc.)
- What is a day on the job like?
- What do they like most about their job?
- What is challenging about their job?
- How diverse is your workplace? Would you consider that a positive, negative, or neither?
- Do you face any health problems (sore wrists, bad back, poor eyesight, etc) that you suspect may be a result of your job?
- Do you drive a Tesla? Why or why not?
- Have you ever experienced any sort of discrimination in the workplace?
- Have you always wanted to work with computers?
