After doing the proper research and seeing a solid product fit, I have started the process of creating a mobile telehealth application that would connect patiences with their respective physician. I am a UX/UI designer and just finished creating the userflow diagrams, wireframes and mockups. I am at the “find experienced developers phase” of the product road map. Although I am more technically inclined then most, my knowledge doesn’t scratch the surface when understanding the back end of how this app will work and communicate end to end. Im hoping to get some consult on the project scope and project length at a high level.
Some key features in the app would include
Patient: registration using email patient profile search doctor function appointment and calendar viewing – ability to cancel video, audio, and messaging geolocation payment portal – payment set up set reminders on medication taking and other health related things
For the doctors: doctor profile scheduling and calendar view video, audio, and messaging with patient ehr review and integration medical perception to patients
Admin: Add doctor/clinic/ manager in database Delete doctor/clinic/ manager Show all users Assign doctor to clinic
I’m genuinely curious to know how a developer would approach a project like this. Working in tech I understand this is no easy task, but how complex is this application considering there isn’t a high level of machine learn, algorithms to it? Which aspect of the development process would take the most time and why?
